In addition to our Customer Policy, we will always honour your refund requests if a business closes permanently, an event is cancelled or rescheduled, or a business refuses to accept your unredeemed lulugift.com voucher. We also have the following standard refund policies:
Types of Refunds
We reserve the right to provide refunds only in DEAL credits to customer’s lulugift.com account. Cash refunds will only be done on the basis that there is an error on the deal which resulted in a change of the deal offer from us. All other refunds via debit/credit cards will be refunded via deal credits. Under no circumstance would cash be given as a refund.
When is a Customer Eligible for a Refund?
If the customers change their mind about any of these deals purchased, we reserve the right to not process a refund on this basis. However we do encourage that customers who cannot redeem a voucher offer it to friends or family.
- A customer is able to claim for a refund if they did not receive their voucher due to a technical error. The customer is still expected to produce proof of payment before the refund is processed.
- Customers are entitled to a full refund in the event that merchant has closed down or ceased operations.
- lulugift.com will assists customers who are having trouble to make or confirm their bookings 2 weeks prior to voucher expiry date. If the booking date cannot be obtained or is too far ahead we are able to assists customers on credit refunds upon request.
- Should an “act of god” restrict the ability of the customer to redeem their voucher, we are unable to refund, however we do encourage customers to offer the voucher as a gift to friends or family.
- Should the fine print hold any restriction to which a customer can redeem a voucher, we are unable to refund, however we do encourage customers to offer the voucher as a gift to friends or family.
- A customer cannot refund on the basis that a better deal is offered elsewhere.
- Should any merchant offer a better deal to a customer, the customer is unable to refund on this basis.
- A customer cannot refund based on a third party review advising them not to redeem.
- Refunds are also not issued should a customer change their mind about the purchase.
- If a customer’s voucher has expired, a refund is not possible; customers will be informed two weeks prior to the voucher becoming expired
- Should there be no bookings available for the desired time of a customer, a refund is not made available if there are still other dates/times available for booking.
- Should a merchant refuse to honour a voucher for whatever reason, a customer may request a refund.
- Should a merchant stop or close down its business, a refund may be requested.
- Should a merchant relocate its businesses to a new location, the customer is able to request a refund.
- If a purchase is made in error, a refund is not available as all sales are final.
Non-Dated Events are subject to the policy stated above for Deals. Each Voucher for a Dated Event is always non-refundable, and is only valid on the specific event date you chose at the time of purchase. Dated Events Vouchers are date and time specific (and customers may select the date and time of event at the time of purchase). If the Voucher is not used on the specified date, the entire value is forfeited. No full or partial refunds are given to customers who missed an event date. However, customers will be notified prior to the cancelled or rescheduled events. Cancelled events will be fully refunded. If customers are unable to make the new date of a rescheduled event, customers are entitled to a refund upon request.
Items purchased directly from lulugift.com can be returned within 7 days of receipt, if the product is still sealed in original packaging.
Some Product Deals are for Vouchers, and the regular Deal Refund Policy will apply to those Voucher sales. Other Product Deals are for lulugift.com Products ordered at the time of purchase. For those lulugift.com Product Deals, unless indicated in the Fine Print as Final Sale, or otherwise ineligible for returns, lulugift.com Product may be returned within 7 days following delivery. In the event of a promotion, customers are able to apply for a refund only if the lulugift.com Product is not received in the stipulated time or lulugift.com Product received is different from what is ordered or is damaged or defective.
For any return, a return request must be placed via email@example.com within 7 days of delivery of the product. The lulugift.com Product must be returned as soon as reasonably practicable and within 7 days following delivery of the lulugift.com Product. Customers have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the lulugift.comProduct while it is in their possession. The lulugift.com Product must be returned unused, unopened and in original packaging. Except in the case of damaged or defective lulugift.com Product, lulugift.com reserves the right to not entertain refund request for any lulugift.com Product returned that is incomplete or in unsellable condition.
Because the lulugift.com Product is defective, we will examine the returned lulugift.com Product and if we agree that the lulugift.com Product is defective we will issue a return and is subject to stock availability. Alternatively a refund will be processed, in which case, we will notify customers of their refund via e-mail within a reasonable period of time. We will try to process the refund as soon as possible and no later than 30 days from the day we have confirmed with customers via e-mail that they are entitled to a refund. All amounts paid will be refunded for the damaged or defective lulugift.com Product, including shipping. lulugift.com will refund any money received from customers in the same method originally used by customers to pay for purchases.
From time to time we may offer Special Deals and due to the nature of these Deals, a special refund policy is required. Any modifications to the refund policy will be stated in the Fine Print for such Deals. We would like to remind customers that, as with all Deal specifics, if a different refund time frame is stated in the Fine Print, the Fine Print overwrites all other policies.
